Do you remember your first day? Maybe it was that nervous energy of a new school year or the first day at summer camp, or even perhaps your first day at a new job. First days are the poignant markers of change happening in our lives.

And today is the first day for Life Rewired as we introduce ourselves online. It brings me back to those awkward introductions we've all endured at the beginning of a class or as we step into a new role at work. Intros like, "State your name and where you're from and one fun fact about yourself."

So here it goes: Hi! My name is Courtney. I grew up in Central Florida. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy mushy foods like yogurt, oatmeal, smoothies, and grits. I'll take a soggy french fry over a crispy one.

And this is Life Rewired-- a collaborative place created to connect people like you to resources on well-being, longevity, and finding purpose. For me, this is a milestone part of the journey that began about a year ago while working as a communications specialist in consulting. In one of our numerous deep conversations, my partner and I determined that what brought us the most meaning was helping others find (or reignite) their "spark." Sometimes, the "spark" describes something inside of us-- that authentic piece of ourselves that we lost amongst all of our seeking and striving in life. Other times, that "spark" is catching fire between two people in a relationship. And in some cases, that "spark" might describe what it is that you're trying to build with your teammates on the field or in the boardroom-- the genuine connection to each other. In all cases, the common theme that resonates has everything to do with well-being. Simply put, well-being has everything to do with how you feel about yourself, how you feel about others, and how you navigate on your journey -- personally, professionally, spiritually, energetically. We've discovered that the more you can focus on building well-being practices, the better you'll feel across all areas of your life. And the research we've encountered backs that up.

So, we plugged ourselves into the prestigious Duke Health & Well-being program to learn more about how to best support others--helping them understand well-being for themselves. We're not therapists. We partner with people, couples, and teams to educate and empower others to figure out what's most important right now.

Happy you're here. Grateful, you're open to taking the next step towards rewiring your life.
